Before a hard day of work – Cairo. Egypt 2010

Faces. Places. Still have a part of my memory
and the past echoes, with every step of my steps
into the future of my yesterday.

I couldn’t see the change of many minutes
that passed away into my memories.
adding more and more
to the future of who i will be.

As those minutes became hours, weeks and months
the wall of change has become very clear to see.

Within.. An empty kingdom of hope and faith
which no one understood, not even me..
are those faces and places
that mirrored me
behind the walls of change.

Memories.. i control not
it just comes back to me
as i live and breathe my daily steps
towards the man i become everyday
walking back
from the past.

The world changes every second
minutes pass by unrealized
its within the amount of change
that you can see the difference: Change.

Through the gate of time – Gondola – Venice. Italy 2011

I travelled back in time; Venice..
as i went through the unknown gate of time.

It took me from a phase of time to another..
and the journey within a kingdom of me has began.

i always fear what i don’t know..
but there i was..
closing that gate behind me..
into that point of no return.

i met a lot of my memories.. explained..
they all did themselves to me..
introducing me.. to one of them & the others..
i met them all.. but one.

answers seeking.. i had none.

it was the destiny awaiting for me..
to see and feel what at last..
had to be seen and known.

i closed my eyes..
followed the blind instinct that lead me..
walked my emotions a step..
one after the other..
and one.

leaving through another gate..
i left my soul.. in Venice.

and came back..
alone.

The International 19th Holy Quran Exhibition – Tehran, Iran

Photographer Hamad AlSarraf left Kuwait to Tehran, Iran on the 7th of August to participate with 15 Islamic style photographs in The 19th International Holy Quran Exhibition, and the International participations section includes 40 artists from 20 countries.

This is the second international participation for Hamad AlSarraf aside to his various local participations and his solo exhibition “The First Novel” which was a very good start for Hamad AlSarraf.

The official opening of the international artists section of The 19th International Holy Quran Exhibition was on the 10th of August and will be held for a week.

Along with this exhibition is various events in different fields that point towards the Holy Quran .

غادر الكويت المصور الفوتوغرافي حمد الصراف تاريخ ٧ – ٨ – ٢٠١١
متوجها الي طهران عاصمة الجمهورية الاسلاميه ايران.

ليشارك بعدد ١٥ صورة فوتوغرافيه ذات الطابع الإسلامي، ضمن فعاليات المعرض الدولي ١٩ للقرآن الكريم. حيث يشارك في هذا المعرض ٤٠ فنان من ٢٠ دولة.

وتعتبر هذه المشاركه الدولية الثانيه للمصور الفوتوغرافي حمد الصراف. بجانب مشاركاته المحليه الكثيرة و معرضه الشخصي الرواية الاولى الذي لاقى صدى جميل لبداية حمد الصراف.

وتم افتتاح قسم المشاركات الفنيه الدوليه
بتاريخ ١٠ – ٨ – ٢٠١١
ويستمر المعرض لمدة اسبوع.

هذا وللمعرض عدة فعاليات اخرى تتمحور كلها حول القرآن الكريم.
